The Lion App is a project by the MOLIT Institute that places the patient as a person at the center of care. The goal is to provide patients with an app that allows them to document their quality of life, so they can address potential limitations more specifically during their medical appointments. This enables early detection and management of side effects and their impact.
By continuously recording well-being even between doctor visits, the app helps close the information gap that often exists during these periods. Physicians gain a more complete data foundation for making personalized treatment decisions. This way, the patient’s experience of their illness and its impact on daily life and well-being becomes central to the care process. Importantly, all data collection and transmission can be controlled or stopped by the patient at any time.
With the Lion App project, we aim to involve patients more closely in their treatment by focusing on their individual quality of life. The app is being developed in close collaboration with interested individuals and patients.

The beta test, starting at the end of November, gives participants the opportunity to test a pre-release version of the Lion App for up to two months before its official launch in spring 2022.
