MIE 2026: MOLIT at the Medical Informatics Europe in Genoa

Under the motto “Opening the Personal Gate between Technology and Health Care”, researchers from around the world gathered in Genoa, Italy, from May 25–28, 2026. Key topics included the efficient use of artificial intelligence in medicine, potential risks and bias in medical terminologies, and upcoming regulations on FHIR standardization within the European Health Data Space.

Under the well-known hashtag #ForschungLohntSich, the German delegation met early in the morning at Porto Antico.

The MOLIT Institute was represented by a delegation from the MOLIT Data Science & AI Team, presenting the latest developments of the Community Annotated Trial Search (CATS) to an engaged expert audience. The response confirmed that the problem being addressed carries international relevance and opens up concrete opportunities for collaboration.

We are grateful for the valuable exchange, look back on these days with fond memories, and move forward with fresh inspiration for the topics of personalized medicine.
