Since the middle of the year, the MOLIT Institute has been a member of the German Research Network (DFN). The DFN operates and develops the communications infrastructure for science and research in Germany and connects universities, research institutions, and research-oriented commercial enterprises at approximately 850 locations nationwide.
With the X-WiN academic network, the DFN operates one of the most powerful research and education networks in the world. It enables highly available, secure, and high-performance networking within Germany as well as with European and international academic networks.
