As one of the three award-winning RegioWIN2030 lighthouse projects in the Heilbronn-Franken region, the I³-Lab, a new biomedical research laboratory with almost 2,700 m² of floor space, is intended to strengthen the strategic, structural development of the region and contribute to the rapidly growing life science sector. I³ stands for the combination of data science (insilico), basic research in molecular biology (invitro) and clinical studies (invivo). The close cooperation with regional healthcare providers should help to quickly transfer the results to the healthcare system and thus make them available to patients and treating physicians.
