Since the middle of the year, The MOLIT Institut has been a member of BelWü (Baden-Württemberg’s Extended LAN), the high-performance research network of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
BelWü connects approximately 100 colleges, universities, and other scientific and public institutions, providing them with a high-performance, secure, and cost-effective network infrastructure featuring high-speed broadband Internet access. Founded in 1987, the network is considered the first regional IP network outside the United States.
Through its membership in the BelWü network, MOLIT strengthens its connection to the scientific and public IT infrastructure in Baden-Württemberg and benefits from a high-performance network and service platform for research, development, and digital collaboration.
