Data-driven precision medicine

Research for medicine that uses data and is centered on the individual

Research. Data. Impact.

Data-driven precision medicine

The MOLIT Institute is a research institute for personalized medicine. Its focus is on the development of data-driven innovations to personalize the treatment and prevention of diseases by integrating complex biological, clinical and environmental data.

Our goal is to fundamentally change modern cancer medicine through data-driven approaches.

Research departments

Innovations in personalized medicine

Our work at the interface of molecular biology, data science and clinical application is driving precision medicine forward.

Personalized medicine

Personalized medicine, especially in the field of cancer, enables individualized, targeted therapeutic approaches based on the molecular profile of the tumor disease.

Tumor Biology and Research Lab

Living biosamples for translational tumor biology research.

Data Science & AI

Developing accurate models and supporting clinical decisions for improved medical care.

Interoperability and participation

Development of interoperable systems and participatory approaches to improve data exchange in personalized medicine.

Bridging the gap between research and healthcare

MOLIT is actively involved in making these new medical approaches available to oncology patients. MOLIT does not treat patients itself, but is only involved in research. In order to establish a link to practice, the institute cooperates with clinics and educational institutions, among others.

Funding from the Dieter Schwarz Foundation enables MOLIT to conduct independent research and thus focus on science and the global dissemination of knowledge.
